Asbestos waste is hazardous. It must never be dumped, burned, broken up or reused, and may only be buried at a disposal site licensed by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
Our own licensed site
We run our own NEMA-licensed asbestos disposal site in Kaloleni Subcounty, Kilifi County, under licence NEMA/ENVIS/WM/LDS/0145 for asbestos-containing materials. An Environmental Impact Assessment has been done for the site.
From your site to ours
After removal, every piece is wrapped, sealed and labelled on your site. Our own team then transports it to Kaloleni in our own vehicles, under our licence to transport this waste, and checks that each load reaches the right disposal point.
Your paperwork
After disposal you receive a tracking document and a completion certificate.
